The Annual Conference

Since 2015, Big Yellow Taxi has provided branding, marketing and design support to The Clearing House, a banking association and payments company that provides thought leadership to the banking community.

In 2016, when TCH decided to launch an annual conference, they turned to Big Yellow Taxi to provide marketing materials, conference takeaways and signage for the event.

When the Banking Policy Institute joined the partnership, Big Yellow Taxi was the clear choice to help them integrate the brands and upgrade the technologyto take the event to the next level. Because Big Yellow Taxi had been working with the conference for so long, the team was able to easily transform the design and message to show the world how the brand was growing in scope and magnitude.

What began asprimarily design-and paper-based support went fully digital. Big Yellow Taxi created new integrated brand messaging that showcased both TCH and BPI and produced new technology-based solutions, including an event app, animated signage, and live, real-timeresponsive technology for use at the conference itself.

In 2020, when the world focus shifted due to the pandemic, the conference changed as well. Previously, the conference had been held in the fall in New York City in the past. At the time, the brandmessage reflected the vibrant nightlife, excitement of the iconic location and the dynamic energy surrounding the event. In the new post-pandemic era, the upcoming conference will be held in the spring of 2022. Big Yellow Taxi has worked closely with the team to ensure that the brand message reflects a calm, reassuring and welcoming message with the promise of spring and new beginnings.

The Conference

The TCH+BPI Annual Conference has become the industry’s preeminent banking and payments conference, engaging with the commercial banking industry’s leading decisionmakers and thought leaders and providing a forum to examine the changing dynamics of the bank regulatory and payments landscapes.

The Clearing House

Since its founding in 1853, The Clearing House has delivered safe and reliable payments systems, facilitated bank-led payments innovation, and provided thought leadership on strategic payments issues.As the country’s oldest banking trade association, The Clearing House also provides informed advocacy and thought leadership on critical payments-related issues facing financial institutions today. The Clearing House is owned by 26 financial institutions and supports hundreds of banks and credit unions through its core systems and related services.

Bank Policy Institute

The Bank Policy Institute (BPI) is a nonpartisan research and advocacy group, representing the nation’s leading banks and their customers. Members include universal banks, regional banks and the major foreign banks doing business in the United States. Collectively, they employ almost 2 million Americans, make 72% of all loans and nearly half of the nation’s small business loans and serve as an engine for financial innovation and economic growth.
