When Berkshire Hathaway company Envirocleanse repositioned their product from an industrial cleaner to a CPG all-purpose disinfectant in late 2019, they turned to us for help redesigning their website and developing an e-commerce component. At the same time, we were working with UNICEF and had been hearing about a virus that was rapidly spreading across China. Since the company was already in the process of getting the product certified by the EPA as a disinfectant, he suggested the idea of testing the cleaner against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. By the time the pandemic hit, Envirocleanse was one of a select few products on the market that was certified to help stop the spread of Coronavirus. The product became a runaway success, and the website infrastructure we created was able to easily handle the massive volume of sales. Big Yellow Taxi has since redesigned the website and has added on SEO, providing research and quarterly reports to keep the product top-of-mind for businesses and consumers.



Envirocleanse serves the medical, food, food distribution, janitorial supplies, oil-and-gas, livestock, water reclamation, and ballast-water-treatment industries. Their flagship product is the EPA-registered disinfectant known as Envirocleanse-A. The company’s mission is to provide a superior, next-generation disinfectant for commercial and industrial use that is non-toxic and sustainable. Envirocleanse is a subsidiary of Charter Brokerage, a Berkshire Hathaway company.
