Envirocleanse Disinfectant

A bird’s-eye-view of world events uncovered a unique opportunity for a client’s environmental cleaning solution ahead of the pandemic.

When Berkshire Hathaway company Envirocleanse repositioned their product from an industrial cleaner to a CPG all-purpose disinfectant in late 2019, they turned to us for help redesigning their website and developing an e-commerce component. At the same time, Big Yellow Taxi founder Tony Vecchione was working with UNICEF and had been hearing about a virus that was rapidly spreading across China. Since the company was already in the process of getting the product certified by the EPA as a disinfectant, he suggested the idea of testing the cleaner against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. By the time the pandemic hit, Envirocleanse was one of a select few products on the market that was certified to help stop the spread of Coronavirus. The product became a runaway success, and the website infrastructure we created was able to easily handle the massive volume of sales.
