Banking Perspectives

We realigned and redesigned a custom quarterly journal for the banking industry.

The Clearing House launched Banking Perspectives to inform financial industry leaders and policymakers about bank policy and payments developments. The publication aims to serve as a forum for thought leadership from banking executives, regulators, academics, policy experts, and industry observers. However, the design initially lacked continuity and did not resonate with its C-suite readership.

After assisting with the publication’s launch, we quickly redesigned its branding and overall look and feel. We aimed to modernize the brand and distinguish it from its historic parent company. We started by updating the magazine’s identity, which had recently changed from Banking Perspective to Banking Perspectives. This change was significant because adding an ‘s’ indicates that multiple viewpoints are represented within the publication. Our design solution included a clever visual illusion, allowing either side of the logo to appear in the foreground.
